What is Strawberry Cough?

Strawberry Cough for sale is a bracing, taste-focused sativa hybrid. Its unmistakable strawberry flavor is the result of crossbreeding by cannabis pioneer Kyle Kushman. Its impressive buds won the title of Best Flower in the 2013 Cannabis Cup. Fruity and light, this strain is an uplifting and productive smoke that can be enjoyed in a variety of settings. This strain is a cross between Strawberry Fields and old-school staple Haze. The average THC composition of this strain is between 15% and 20%. Emerald Cannabis Worx tested Strawberry Cough through pH Labs and hit a record high of 22.98% THC in 2018.

Strawberry Cough Strain became the number one selling strain amongst delivery services in the New York area. When Kushman moved to California to grow cannabis legally, he continued to share Strawberry Cough cuttings across the country. As a result, several Strawberry Cough strains and imitators have sprung up from other cultivators. He teamed up with Tyler Wadleigh and Aaron Justis of Los Angeles dispensary Buds & Roses Collective in 2009, and continues to release Strawberry Cough through their storefront.

The skunky, berry flavors will capture your senses while the cerebral, uplifting effects provide an aura of euphoria that is sure to leave a smile on your face. Strawberry Cough is a great solution in times of elevated stress.

Aroma

Much as the name implies, the overall aroma of Strawberry Cough is predominantly, well… strawberry; reminiscent of fresh summer berries growing in a country field. Some undertones also peak through the scent profile with hints of earth and skunk, which might be why this marijuana strain tends to cause coughing after it has been inhaled. The scent immediately consumes any room it’s in, lingering for a long time even after the buds themselves have been locked tightly away.

Strawberry Cough Flavor

The flavor is similar to the aroma, aside from a few subtle differences. The overall taste is, of course, rich in fruity strawberries, but hints of earth also present themselves, similar to when you eat a berry picked straight from the dirt.

Strawberry Cough is a strain that every stoner needs to experience; the tropical berry sweetness perfectly conflicting with subtle notes of earth and grass.

The aftertaste is a bit herbal and spicy, which will usually linger inside the mouth long after the smoke has cleared. Your taste buds will become especially pleased with this flavor profile, as the strawberry is not only tasty but also very sweet and sugary, satisfying even the most extreme sweet tooths out there.

 Appearance

Appearance-wise, the buds on Strawberry Cough are beautiful, featuring a multitude of colors that complement each other pleasantly. The sugar leaves are shades of violet purple, neon green and earthy yellow, with frequent patches of bright orange pistils, or tiny hairs, that curl and twist amongst the frosty, smokable leaves.

The sugar leaves are quite densely coated with trichomes, taking on a crystalline appearance which closely mimics the first frost of the year when the roads all develop a thin coating of ice, which glimmers and shines underneath the streetlight.

 Effects

Strawberry Cough strain for sale is a bit of a complex sativa strain, because it does prove the same energy and uplift as other strains with this same categorization do, yet it is still very mellow and relaxing at the same time.

Some sativas can make you jittery and cause your mind to run a million miles a minute at full force, but Strawberry Cough is not like this; it enhances your natural state and wires in your ability to be focused plus motivated, all while keeping your heart rate down but your mind sharp and alert.

For this reason, purchase Strawberry Cough is an ideal “getting-things-done” strain; essential if you’ve got a big exam to study for or a crap ton of work that needs catching up on. Best suited for an energy boost during the day, or when you’re beginning to wind down at night but still want to be in the mood to hang and socialize.

Medical Benefits of Strawberry Cough Weed

Some have said that Strawberry Cough is the ultimate mental health marijuana strain, acting fast to relieve a variety of mental health issues and conditions affecting the mind. This cannabis seems to miraculously lower stress levels. It calms the mind and body and slows down the heart rate to a comfortable pace where focus and concentration can become clearer — without the added anxiety.

For these reasons, those who have difficulties with ADHD could benefit extremely well from Strawberry Cough marijuana.

Furthermore, depressionanxietybipolar disorderPTSD, and seasonal affective disorder, can improve with the help of Strawberry Cough. Those with mental conditions should begin by consuming a small dose of this strain, working their way up in dosage as they better understand how the plant is affecting them.

Strains with high potencies of THC can sometimes impact those with mental disorders negatively, which is why it is important to check in regularly with yourself if you fall under this category. Within the physical realm, Strawberry Cough can also be of assistance. It has a profound ability to tackle fatigue, pain, and nausea.

For those who are seeking relief from pain or other physical difficulties, Strawberry Cough should be consumed in slightly larger quantities (and therefore an alternative method of consumption could be useful to receive a more THC with little actual consuming involved”.

Edibles, concentrates, extracts, tinctures, candies, and gummies are all possible solutions, and some of them might even be available at your local medical marijuana dispensary or recreational pot shop.

Possible Negative Side Effects of Strawberry Cough Weed

Most would agree that Strawberry Cough is a rather effortless strain, and for good reason. Not only does its low-maintenance cultivation regime make it easy-going, but it also is followed by relatively few negative side effects.

This is generally nothing to worry about, however, because dry mouth is perfectly manageable with a little extra preparation and planning. Keep a bottle nearby of hydrating fluids, and drink plenty of it before, during, and after your high. This will not only keep your mouth from drying out but also to prevent headaches, grogginess, and dehydration. In rare circumstances, this strain  may produce a headache followed by dizziness, but this occurrence is uncommon.

Dry eyes are prevalent with this marijuana strain (as well as with most other cannabis types), but you can purchase a bottle of moisturizing eye drops from your local pharmacy and keep them on hand anytime you consume marijuana to remove any discomforts or pains that are tied with dry eyes. All in all, this is a pretty chill and easy-going strain, making you feel the same way.

    by far the best strain

  2. Dustin G. Randle

This is not a focus strain, in fact this is one of the most spacey strains mentally i’ve ever had in my entire life. I like binge smoking it because it doesn’t put me in lethargic state but rather increases the high with each smoke.

  3. Amy A. Elizondo

One of my favorite sativas, I consider strawberry cough my “Iron Curtain” for depression. No question, it makes me chatty, and definitely makes it easier to get into a social event. Great wake and bake. Motivating. Though again for me, the biggest benefit is stopping my depression.

  4. Joseph A. Tatman

Strawberry cough is one of my all-time favorite strains. This is a great strain to take backpacking and hiking or if you want to get up and move. Buds smells a berry flavor. The taste is like smoking strawberry’s. The affects in low doses include clear head high, uplifted, energetic, alerting, focused, sociable, relaxed and a little giggly. The only body high you get with low amounts is small little tingles on bottoms of feet and warm around chest area. The affects in high amounts are whole body relaxation, fogy head high, very euphoric, a little buzzed stubbly feeling, EXTREME audio hallucinations, floating feeling and hard to focus. The body high in high amounts feels warm all over body. When standing legs feel heavy. Heels feel numb and head feels hot with slight pressure. There are little tingles on legs and arms. When getting up from sitting down you feel 30 pounds lighter. The only negatives are a little paranoid, dry mouth and throat feels itchy. Strawberry cough is excellent or depression and stress. Everyone should try it at least once.

Found a mini nug in a container that was forgotten in feb. Toked the overcured pink goodness in a M-vape pen to a crisp. 3Puffs later the odd aroma filled the car. Not very fruity nor odory. Synthetic strawberry Chemical residue is what I akin it to. Easy smoke, not harsh in my opinion. High is nearly instant, not too trippy but rather a very certain mental awareness. Im headstrong on growing this strain, 1bagseed will have to do now till I can get my hands on some proper gentics.

  6. Edward D. Pena

  11. Carol E. Lemmon

Nice sativa strain to start the day!! Cool and refreshing, it’s perfect for mid morning smoking without the fog. 💚

  12. Lucille M. Slaton

Not what I deem to be impressive. A decent strain and even a decent shake. Might use to “cut” a stronger strain.

  13. Elda M. Hernandez

    best shipping ever

  14. Audra K. Jones

This is my favorite strain and nothing else even compares. I have anxiety very often and this strain is one of the only strains that helps me with it. Strawberry cough (strawberry fields x haze) is the best tasting strain I have ever had ,and I am not joking or exaggerating when I say that. From the first inhalation I can taste the strawberry flavor that reminds me of the strawberry patches that grew at my childhood home. After the first hit the powerful high of haze kicks in and takes away any stress or anxiety I might be experiencing. The high is energetic and gets you moving not making you couch locked on the loveseat for hours. This strain has a lot of sativa genetics contained within so it is difficult for most indoor growers to grow properly. Due to this reason it is often difficult to find due to the legality of cannabis. Which is distasteful, because this strain is a gift that alleviates people’s anxieties and fears and puts them to the wayside so that they can move on with their life and accomplish great things.

STRAWBERRY COUGHing forever!! This Sativa won Best Flower at 2013 Cannabis Cup. Major effects i got were uplifting & happiness 🙂 Bud was chunky with an Indica bud structure. The color was medium to dark green with orange pistils & was covered in crystal trichomes. THC level was 18%. Scent & Flavor had a little something besides sweet strawberry. Spicy? or Skunky? I know, spicy skunk!! Gives the berry a bit of a “kick” that made me cough!! ENJOY
